I Want to Connect With Like Minded People

I’m all about building community and working together…. I’ve decided to add Substack to my content plan and I want to blow it out of the water… I’m not here to feel good and write, I’m here to plant seeds and change lives. If you feel the same (and you’re cool) let’s work together….

OK, listen up… here’s the plan…

There are three different areas to tackle and 3 areas which we can make a huge impact in if we work together.

First up: Substack is a writers community but let’s be honest, the real draw is that it’s a kick ass email system where you can build an audience and then easily push your message out to your followers and attempt at least to monetize this with digital products so you can keep trying to change the world with your content.

I’ve got about 2100 email subscribers currently that I get to send my content out to. But what if I paired with 15 other writers and let’s just say they had an average of 1500 subscribers. That means that my work is now going out to 24,600 people…. and yours is too….

Number two: Listen, if we want to keep doing this then we’ve got to make money to eat. What better way to do it then by recycling your Substack articles into an eBook and charging $10 for it. You get your content out, you get to eat. But what if we did Compilation books? Think, “15 Selected Essays from 15 Beautiful People.” Boom. Everyone gets the same eBook, everyone sells it on their website, everyone gets their content out.

Batting third: Thinking big….. listen… this is a kick ass idea already and it’s just me. Can you imagine if we had 15 big thinkers all thinking of great ideas? Damn…. we could do some cool shit! My proposal? A Telegram Group! The Substack Collective…. this is our command center…. we brainstorm, collab, work together…. when you write a new article you post it in the group and 15 people go and interact, restack, comment….

But, are you cool? You’ve got to pass the Vibe check….

Bottom line…. you have to be a good human…. this means that you are against racism, misogyny, imperialism, genocide, Israel, ICE, Trump, colonialism, billionaires, theocracies, child abuse, mistreatment of animals, anyone in the Epstein files, MAGA right wing lunatics, people who don’t give a shit about the environment, Capitalism, need I go on? You get the picture….
