They need you to believe that the Muslim world is a monolith of fanaticism, danger, and backwardness. They rely on the fact that the average Westerner couldn’t tell you the difference between the Quran, the Sunnah, and the Hadith if their life depended on it.
Ignorance is the weapon. This book is the counter-measure.
As an Agnostic Atheist living on the ground in the Middle East, I didn’t write this book to convert a single soul. I wrote it to document the reality they hide from you—the actual history, the 13 core pillars and practices, and the sheer beauty of the culture I experience every day.
By the time someone finishes this, the media’s talking points won’t work on them ever again.
