Trump Isn’t on the Cover of Vanity Fair; He IS Vanity Fair
This guy wants his fucking name on everything....
Listen, let's cut the shit for a second. I’ve spent enough time working with my hands to know when a machine is breaking down, and right now, the smoke coming off this administration is getting hard to ignore. A lot of us wanted a guy who’d go into D.C. and start cracking skulls, but at some point, you gotta look at the scoreboard. This man thinks the sun comes up just to hear him crow, and frankly, I'm getting tired of the noise.
Now I’m reading that he wants his face on the U.S. passport for the 250th anniversary. Are you f***ing kidding me? That sticks in my throat like a hair in a biscuit. A passport is supposed to represent the country—the history, the documents, the people—not some billionaire’s latest branding exercise. It’s like he can't go five minutes without trying to mark his territory on something that belongs to all of us. He’s getting way too big for his britches.
The truth is, Donald Trump isn’t on the cover of Vanity Fair; he IS Vanity Fair. Think about the track record. This fer has been slapping his name on every piece of garbage he can find for decades. Remember "Trump Steaks"? Who the hell buys a steak from a damn Sharper Image? It was just a way to sell his ego in a cardboard box. Then you had "Trump Ice." It’s fing water, man. He literally tried to brand the stuff that falls out of the sky for free just so he could see his name in gold. From the "University" that was nothing but a vacuum for people's savings to the towers he plasters his name on, the man is a walking, talking billboard for his own reflection. He’s about as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle when it comes to actual leadership, but he’s a damn pro at self-promotion.
But here’s the real kicker, the thing that’ll make you madder than a mule chewing on bumblebees. While he’s busy trying to make sure every American traveler carries his mug in their pocket, he’s been playing hide-and-seek with the f***ing Epstein files.
He loves the spotlight when it’s a staged photo op, but he sure as hell hates it when it’s a deposition. He wants his face on your passport, but he didn't want his name in those flight logs. He wants you to see him as a "Founding Father" while the real records show him trading smiles with a predator at Trump Tower and calling him a "terrific guy." It’s one thing to be a narcissist who puts his name on a bottle of water; it’s another thing entirely to be a guy who tries to bury the receipts of who he was actually running with once he’s got the power to hide 'em. Don't let him pee down your back and tell you it's raining.
We’re out here working 50, 60 hours a week, watching the price of everything go through the roof, and this guy is worried about the lighting for a goddamn government ID. It’s f***ing pathetic. We didn't vote for a king or a mascot; we voted for someone to do a job. But to him, the job is just a shield to hide his past and a billboard to sell his future.
Putting his face on the passport is some straight-up dictator s***. It’s what you see in countries where the leader thinks he is the state. Newsflash: The United States isn't a f***ing franchise, and it’s not one of his tacky casinos. That passport belongs to the people, not his marketing department or his legal defense team.
I'm just tired of the vanity. I'm tired of the constant "me, me, me" while the rest of us are trying to figure out how to pay for groceries. If he wants to see his face that bad, he can go buy another mirror and leave our documents alone. It’s time we stopped letting a salesman treat the country like his personal billboard while he hides the truth in the shadows. He’s all hat and no cattle, and I’m about done waiting for the beef.
